Our education system fails us tremendously, in the training and preparation of how to manage and live in a currency driven society.
This lack of training and understanding can and does have an tremendous impact on how we are able to live, to pursue Dreams and take advantage of opportunities.
Individually, from the top down, we are all victims of this failure to educate and prepare. From politicians, to executives, to small business owners, to workers, to teachers, to our parents. Nobody is immune to the impacts from financial illiteracy.

To be handed all the freedoms of credit cards, buying vehicles etc, from the age of 18 years old with no understanding, education or awareness of the consequences associated can and does have ramifications that can last a lifetime, due to a mistake made very early on.

Your credit score follows you, for the rest of your financial life and unless you make enough money and can afford to pay cash for everything, including vehicles and a home, prepare to pay the price, if have bad credit.

Other than self knowing and mental health, it would seem financial literacy is worth the time to learn and master.
